'Vikings' season 4 spoilers: Queen Aslaug in cat fight with Lagertha

The upcoming midseason of the Canadian-Irish historical drama "Vikings" will be embroiled in a fight that is both shocking and game-changing.
Now in its fourth season, the History Channel series' second part will see Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) engaging in a catfight with Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick). Now while this sounds truly exciting for fans, the same could not be said for Sutherland's character who may herself be in grave danger as the series progresses.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly from the recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con, Winnick opined, "It's going to be a catfight. Two power women go head to head. It's a really interesting scene because you don't expect what happens." The statement from Winnick has led some fans into thinking that Queen Aslaugh may finally meet its demise in the upcoming season.
Moreover, it was speculated that Aslaugh may die in the fourth season due to the recently released trailer of the show. It can be seen in one scene that the character was writhing with blood on the ground. Another publication noted that Aslaugh may not die in the imminent season but may suffer from a miscarriage due to a fight with Lagertha.
While most of the spoilers could point out to a possible Aslaugh death, others have also pointed out the possibility of Lagertha's fall. A speculation arose that she may lose the fight with Aslaug. If rumors are to be believed, this would be tough for Lagertha as she is poised to be alone in her fight with Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), her only son, sailing away to the Mediterranean with Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard). Further, Winnick has revealed that Floki and Bjorn's relationship is set to flourish.
Meanwhile, Winnick's character is not expected to bite the dust in the upcoming season as rumors have been circulating that she has already been filming for the fifth season of the hit historical drama.
The second part of the fourth season of "Vikings" will return this fall at History Channel.
