'Wentworth' season 4 episode 2 recap: Kaz protests to make conjugal visits possible

(Soho TV)Wentworth season 4 episode 2 showed Kaz protesting for the conjugal visit program.

The fourth season of the Australian series "Wentworth" just recently aired its second episode. While fans wait for the announcement of the third season's synopsis and release date, here is the rundown of the recently aired episode, titled "Poking Spiders."

It opened with Ferguson learning some bad news from a man named Enrique. It was revealed that Nils Jasper, Kim's previous hitman, has released the prosecution statement. He wanted a plea bargain.

Bridget calls the hospital where Ferguson was previously admitted. She told the staff of the health facility that it was a mistake to release Ferguson because of her mental state. When Bridget decided to bring up the issue to Vera, the latter threatened her that she has learned about Bridget and Franky's connection. If Bridget insists on what she wants, Vera reminded her that the information she has will be given straight to the board.

Elsewhere, Maxine noticed that Allie has some interest in Bea. However, Bea felt that Allie is weird. Maxine's observation was drawn from Allie's glances to Bea.

After Bridget and Vera's confrontation, the former went home. Franky told Bridget to stop worrying. However, Bridget insisted that Franky returns to where she's supposed to stay. They both ended up arguing. When Franky left, the person who has been watching them from afar was revealed to be her dad.

Meanwhile, at the cafeteria, Bea announced that the department decided not to allow conjugal visits because it is expensive and impractical. Bea blamed Kaz after the latter threw dirty tampons during the press con with the department. Kaz thought that the department's decision was unfair because the men in prison are given conjugal visits. She decided to stage a protest in the yard, similar to what Bea did in the previous season. Kaz was determined to convince Vera to make the conjugal visits possible. However, her protest ended with her getting a wound on her face.
