'WWE 2K17' news: Backstage brawls and revamped ladder matches added to game

New changes have been made in the upcoming wrestling simulation game "WWE 2K17" and the list of characters who are in its rosters is continually expanding.
IGN previously reported that two new features will be present in the game. These involve the addition of backstage brawls, along with a new way of having ladder matches.
In order to spice up the battle between wrestlers, players can now bring their opponents backstage. This will surely add a more dramatic effect during a match. If that was not enough, the wrestler can also involve the crowd who is watching by beating up the opponent in the audience area.
Furthermore, gamers can also use the objects that are in the area surrounding their characters as weapons. This gives the wrestling matches a more realistic effect and similar to those that are shown on television.
Another cool feature that was revealed recently was the Ladder Match overhaul. Players can now grab a ladder and set it up in the right location. There are five spots where the ladder can be put. The first location is in the middle of the ring. It can also be positioned at the front of the ropes of each side of the ring. Once it's set up, the players can do anything they want with it. They can battle on top of the ladder or they can crush their enemies by jumping on them. The ongoing match is bound to make the audience pump up a lot of adrenaline as they watch.
Furthermore, some legendary wrestlers are being added to the game's line-up. Some NXT stars are being included as well.
Alundra Blaze, Trish Stratus, Eva Marie and Lita are four legendary female wrestlers who are already part of the roster. As for the male legends, reports say that The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, Ravishing Rick Rude, Macho Man Randy Savage and Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig are also part of the massive roster. These playable characters will surely take the fans' breaths away.
"WWE 2K17" is expected to come out on October 11, 2016.
