'WWE 2K17' release date update: 2K Sports to release PC version worldwide in February

2K Sports announced that the PC version of its "WWE 2K17" video game will be released worldwide in early February. The game will be released in two package options, namely, the Standard and Deluxe editions.
Priced at $49.99, the Standard Edition includes a copy of the game, as well as a Goldberg Pack that provides players access to two playable versions of legendary World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Bill Goldberg and to two playable WCW arenas — the Monday Nitro and Halloween Havoc. Players who order in advance will get a 10% discount.
Aside from the items included in the Standard edition, buyers of the Deluxe Edition will also get a Season Pass for all the existing and future downloadable contents (DLC) of the game like Accelerator, MyPlayer Kickstart and Hall of Fame Showcase. Buyers can pre-order the package if they want to get a 15% discount.
Created by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports, "WWE 2K17" is the official video game simulation of the WWE league. It was officially released on the PlayStation 3 (PS3), PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms last October 2016.
According to 2K Sports, all existing DLCs that were released on the platforms will be immediately available for PC at launch.
Players in the United States can place their advance orders at the following retailers: 2K Store, Steam, GameStop and Direct2Drive. The PC version can be pre-ordered at Amazon in Germany and at online retailer GAME in Spain.
Meanwhile, in its latest announcement, 2K Sports claims that its "WWE 2K17" Future Stars Pack, which includes such upcoming wrestlers as Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Austin Aries, is already available for $8.99 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The pack will also be available on PC during the game's launch on said platform.
