WWE rumors: Steve Austin leaves Hulk Hogan return at the hands of Vince McMahon

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin has been known for making uncanny and controversial remarks in the past. But in the case of Hulk Hogan, the man known as the "Rattlesnake" has left the fate of the former WWE star to the hands of Vince McMahon and company.
Hogan is still trying to recover from the backlash of his celebrated racial comments, though he did get a bit of a reprieve when he won that lawsuit against Gawker Media for invasion of privacy tied up with that unwarranted sex tape release.
That victory somehow puts a halt to his skidding life after the WWE. But deep inside, Hogan obviously still misses being part of the wrestling circle. Wrestlemania 32 recently wrapped up and Hogan was one of the many who kept tabs of the annual WWE spectacle.
Will Hogan ever get the chance to re-appear in future Wrestlemanias? It doesn't take much to see that Hogan misses being in the WWE though he needs to make up for his mistakes.
Austin bats that Hogan doesn't have a malicious bone in his body but an eventual return by the Hulkster will all depend on the WWE top brass.
McMahon will be the one to ultimately decide on the matter though seeing that happen could likely take some time. The distasteful recollection of that racial rant is still fresh and obviously something that has yet to die down. But like any wrongdoing, it is bound to be forgiven and forgotten.
Time is critical, but from the looks of it, any future appearance by Hogan could be limited to off-ring appearances. He is already 62 and obviously someone who needs to deal with the fact that he may no longer be fit to wrestle an actual match with wrestlers (both young and old).
So if McMahon or anyone from the WWE eventually forgives him, reinstatement, working behind the microphone or serving as an ambassador are his only options. Either way, Hogan will likely be content since all he wants is to go back to his (WWE) home.
