'X-Men: Apocalypse' spoilers: New concept art; Kodi Smit-McPhee to play younger Nightcrawler, Evan Peters may be back as Quicksilver

Director Bryan Singer of "X-Men: Apocalypse" certainly knows how to tease fans by posting regular updates of the film's pre-production plan on Instagram. Singer brought back some of the magic of the X-Men series by coming back as the director. His magic was seen in "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" with the introduction of time travel.

The latest tease by Singer was a concept art that depicted a ship, which Cinema Blend speculates is Apocalypse's A.I Ship. The extraterrestrial ship is left on Earth by God-like celestials, according to the comic books which explain the super-villain's origin story. En Sabah Nur, which was the villain's name before becoming Apocalypse, discovers the technology in Egypt and uses it to enhance his abilities. Adding aliens and space travel in the mix of time travel will certainly make the series more interesting. Since X-Men mutants possess power, it is plausible that the mutants will take to the stars in future adventures.

Meanwhile, Design & Trend updated that the existing cast members will also welcome Kodi Smit-McPhee as a younger version of mutant Nightcrawler. The young actor has previously worked in "Dawn Of The Planet Of Apes". Smit-McPhee will join new actors Channing Tatum, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp and Sophie Turner, who will be playing Gambit, Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey respectively. Older actors such as Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy will also be reprising their roles as Wolverine, Mystique, Magneto and Cerebro. Actor Oscar Isaac will play Apocalypse's role.

Another Cinema Blend report suggests that Evan Peters may reprise his role in the upcoming X-Men movie, although Peters claims he hasn't yet seen a script. It could be as a result of giving the script its finishing touches, but fans certainly want to see Quicksilver after his dramatic scene in "X-Men: Days Of Future Past". The next X-Men movie is slated to release on May 27, 2016.
