Xbox One Backward Compatibility news: Microsoft expands list with 'Skydive: Proximity Flight' and two more games

2016 might be nearing its end, but Microsoft is unstoppable when it comes to expanding the list in its Xbox One Backward Compatibility program. Recently, the company added "Skydive" and two more games to the said list.
Just last week, Xbox Live head Larry Hryb announced that "Skydive," "Planets Under Attack" and "Clannad" will be included in the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program's list that now has more than 300 games.
The Xbox One Backward Compatibility program rolled out in November 2015, allowing players of Xbox 360 to play a number of their games on the newer Xbox One console without any extra cost. The program lets players transfer not only their Xbox 360 titles, but also their achievements, Gamerscore, and purchased add-ons or upgrades.
"Skydive: Proximity Flight" is a skydiving simulation game developed by Gaijin Entertainment. According to the game's description on Xbox Store: "In Skydive: Proximity Flight, your movements are completely unrestricted. With the help of Kinect sensor you can use your body to speed up, maneuver and soar through the air, like a real skydiver." For Xbox One players who do not have the Xbox 360 copy of the game yet, they can buy the full game for $7.
"Planets Under Attack" is an independent title, strategy video game developed by Targem Games and was released in 2012 for the PC, OS X, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The main gameplay objective is to finish every challenge per level to gain dominance and leadership among various planets. The game also features an online multiplayer mode where live battles can commence.
The third newly added game to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list is the romance visual novel video game "Clannad." However, the game will only be ported in Japan. In "Clannad," players will have to play from the perspective of the protagonist, Tomoya Okazaki. The game features a branching plot line mode where the ending or next sequence will depend on the choices of the player.
For Xbox One players who do not have copies of "Planets Under Attack" and "Clannad," they can be bought for $15 and ¥4,104, respectively.
