Acer has introduced the newest laptop joining its Chromebook 11 lineup. The new Chromebook 11 laptop delivers solid performance and is a reliable device for users who are always on the go. Best of all, the laptop is very affordable at just $180.

"We know what our customers want most in a Chromebook are the attributes that complement the mobile lifestyle – great performance and a portable design at an excellent value – all of this can be found in the Chromebook 11," said Jerry Kao, president of Acer Notebook Business Group.

The Acer Chromebook 11 features an 11.6-inch HD IPS display with a 1366 x 768 screen resolution. The display is sharp, clear and accurate. It also comes with Acer's non-glare ComfyView feature that minimizes eye strain during prolonged exposure to the screen.

The affordable laptop is powered by a quad-core Intel Celeron processor with either 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM. For internal storage, users can also choose between 16 GB or 32 GB.

Even though the laptop is affordable, Acer did not scrimp on the laptops build and design. It looks premium with its nano-imprinted aluminum cover. The chassis is also very durable and can handle stressful conditions. According to Acer, the Chromebook 11 can withstand up to 60 kg of force and 60 cm drops without incurring any damage.

In terms of size, the laptop is very portable and can be easily brought anywhere. It is only 0.73 inches thick and weighs 2.42 pounds.

Other features include an HDR webcam, two stereo speakers and an integrated microphone. These features ensure that users will be able to hold video calls or conferences.

There is also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The laptop has a USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port and an HDMI port. For easy transferring of files, there is also an SD card reader.

Acer has also revealed that the Chromebook 11 provides up to 9 hours of battery life.

The new Acer Chromebook 11 will be available for purchase by February 2016. Prices start at $179.99.
