'Agent Carter' season 2 cast news: new cast members Wynn Everett, Currie Graham, Reggie Austin to look forward to

Comic-Cons usually mean that fans of popular superhero franchises get new updates on their shows (or movies, if there's one in the works) even if the new season has a far-off premiere date. That, fortunately, is what happened this weekend with Marvel's "Agent Carter." Fans got an update on who else is joining the show's sophomore season.
Recently, news of Lotte Verbeek joining "Agent Carter" has hit the Web. She will, apparently, play the role of Ana Jarvis, wife of Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy). Others that have been reported as also appearing in season 2 are Currie Graham and Reggie Austin. But perhaps the most important addition is Wynn Everett, who will play the role of Whitney Frost aka Madam Masque.
In the Marvel Universe, Whitney Frost is best known as a character living in Hollywood, which is perfect as the show is set to move to Los Angeles. An actress, Whitney Frost is also an inventor who later becomes supervillain Madam Masque. How is she going to evolve in the TV show?
Executive producers Tara Butters, Chris Dingess, and Michele Fazekas explained to Entertainment Weekly, "Whitney Frost is a character with a storied history in the Marvel comics, and we're excited to get the opportunity to introduce her to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Inspired by Hollywood icons like Hedy Lamarr and Lauren Bacall, we knew we needed an actor who was classically glamorous and fiercely intelligent. Wynn is both, and we're thrilled to watch her bring this formidable character to life."
Whitney also has a husband, Calvin Chadwick, to be played by show's newcomer Graham. He will reportedly bring a lot of intrigue in the upcoming season.
Austin, on the other hand, will be a possible new love interest for Peggy. He will be charismatic scientist Jason Wilkes.
Stay tuned for news on "Agent Carter" season 2's premiere date.
