Before the month ends, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." fans are getting a brand new season. But it seems like that's not all that fans are getting. They will also have a brand new Skye, now known as Daisy Johnson.

In season three of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Skye (Chloe Bennet) will finally embrace her identity as Daisy Johnson. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Daisy is the alter-ego of Quake, which means that Daisy will also eventually evolve into that comic book superhero in the ABC series.

In the latest "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." image, it seems that the TV Quake will not deviate much from the comics Quake, based on the costume alone. Aside from the all black ensemble — from the tights to the boots — the TV character will also have the gauntlets right where the comic character also have them.

But it seems the costume is not just for aesthetic purposes. It serves a practical purpose, says Bennet. According to her, the gauntlets will serve her earthquake powers really well. She did not, however, detail just how.

The fact that it's a practical costume does not mean it's not pretty, though. Costume designer, Ann Foley, took pains to make sure the costume balances beauty and practicality. She detailed to Los Angeles Times the process of creating Quake's on-screen outfit.

"It's about strength. She feels very empowered in it.... That's what was important to me, that she felt empowered to me. I wanted to stay true to some of the designs I saw in the comics. In the style lines, I wanted to pay a little bit of a tribute to her tactical ability from last season, but we also incorporated the Quake symbol into her gauntlets and on the back of her suit," Foley explained.

Check out Daisy Johnson's Quake outfit when "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." pilots season three on Sept. 29.
