Singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback player Russell Wilson finally tied the knot. The newlyweds have also been sharing proof of their newly married bliss on social media, much to the delight of their fans. But how are their exes faring?

The medieval Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, UK served as the backdrop for the couple's intimate wedding as they said their "I Dos" in front of 100 guests. Not long after, Ciara and Russell started posting photos of their fairytale wedding on social media.

While fans of both the singer and athlete are undoubtedly having fun perusing the photos, it has also led to some people wondering about Russell's ex-wife, Ashton Meem.

The professional athlete and Meem met while they were still in high school, with the former attending Collegiate School in Richmond and the latter going to St. Catherine's High School. The two continued their relationship and even weathered the long distance between their universities.

Wilson and Meem got engaged in 2010 and shortly before the 2012 NFL Draft, they were married in Virginia. The leggy blonde was soon a fixture on the NFL scene as she cheered her then-husband during games.

However, the two suddenly got divorced in 2014 and Wilson asked the press for the usual understanding and privacy. He also made good on his announcement that he wouldn't be commenting on the matter further, despite the rumors that his marriage ended because Meem was having an affair with Golden Tate, who was the Seahawks' wide receiver at the time. Tate denied the allegations several times.

Meem quietly faded in the background after that, only surfacing once to create a little ripple of controversy when she allegedly threw shade at Ciara's engagement ring on Twitter. But aside from that, the Advertising Operations Assistant has been avoiding the spotlight and going on with her life.

As for Ciara's ex, Future, the rapper is reportedly not happy about the newlyweds' desire to begin a family as soon as possible and believes that they should be focusing first on 2-year-old Future Jr., his son with the "1, 2 Step" singer.
