Bing Search brings you to places in the U.S. with travel time, mileage and directions

According to a news article in Microsoft-News.com, Microsoft announced Tuesday Bing Search is updated to bring you to places by giving travel time, mileage and directions. It will help you navigate from origin to destination.
Finding out the distance is as easy as ever as you do not need to check on Bing Maps to find distances and directions. Just type in the search box on Bing and you will have it.
You can roll out the quickest way to get direction and distance between two places. For example, if you search for driving directions from New York City to New Jersey, Bing will offer context about your trip such as mileage, estimated travel time as well as the map above the search result page. The "turn by turn directions" will launch the Bing Maps if clicked.
When you travel is usually when you need directions, thus, Bing brings this feature to mobile as well across top smartphones run by Windows Phone, Android and iOS.
The Microsoft Bing team shared few query samples below. You can try them as well. Bing also accepts natural language in queries. More of this will be seen with digital assistant Cortana on Windows Phone smartphones.
Directions from New York City to Boston
Distance between Charlotte, NC and DC
From Bellevue, Wa to Tacoma, Wa
How far is Hankamer, Texas from Houston, Texas?
How long to drive to Chicago from Springfield, IL?
The feature is currently only available in the U.S., but Microsoft will make this available on mobile devices. Meanwhile, Google has offered similar services for some time, but Microsoft focuses feature parity with its own services to offer more useful search results to users.
