Ronda Rousey lands a guest starring role in "Blindspot" season 2.

The UFC fighter, who suffered from disastrous losses during her last two fights, will take a break from her MMA stint and return to acting with an upcoming role in NBC's crime drama series.

According to the network's press release, Rousey will portray the role of Devon Penberthy in an episode that will air in early May.

The network described Rousey's character as "a female prison inmate who grew up in a working class family from the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and is serving time for transporting weapons across state lines." Devon is also known as a hard-hitting, sporty woman who is knowledgeable in fighting and skilled in handling a weapon.

However, the network did not mention if Rousey's role will work with Jaimie Alexander's Jane Doe, or against her.

This will serve as Rousey's return to acting after she appeared in Comedy Central's "Drunk History" in 2016. She was also a part of several big-screen projects, including "The Expendables 3" in 2014 as well as the "Furious 7" in 2015. She also had a guest part in the film version of HBO's "Entourage" when the movie was released in 2015.

Before Rousey's stint in the series, actor Javier Muñoz also landed a guest starring role in "Blindspot" season 2 in the episode called "Draw O Cesar, Erase A Coward," which aired before the series took a brief hiatus according to the report of Entertainment Weekly.

The lead star of the hit musical "Hamilton" portrayed the role of the eccentric home décor shop owner Marc Gelman. The character was put behind bars for involuntary manslaughter. However, he crossed paths with the FBI when Jane and Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) questioned him regarding a case that was unrelated to his crime.

NBC has yet to announce the official release date of the next episode of "Blindspot" season 2.
