Boruto has always been a handful, often acting immaturely and rashly. But how far will the young shinobi go to make Naruto proud of him?

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" has been getting flack from fans who claim the manga just repeats what they already saw in the movie. However, chapter 3 saw the story revolve around the different stages of the Chunin Exams. There are also reports that two new villains are set to be introduced.

Chapter 3 of the popular manga saw various genin teams headed to Konoha for the Chunin Exams, including Teams Shinki and Konohamaru. The first test saw the teams answering a yes or no question about a book series. As it turns out, there was no correct answer and all the teams fell into an ink pit. Those teams who managed to stop themselves from falling proceeded to the next exam.

The second exam was a more challenging version of Capture the Flag. Boruto was tasked to protect his team's flag, while Sarada and Mitsuki tried to capture the other teams' flags. Naruto's son was hard pressed to defend his team's flag when the Hiddden Grass Ninja team used shadow clones to outnumber him. In his desperation, he used a Kote to defeat the triplets, while Sarada used her Sharingan to capture a flag. While Boruto's team was victorious, his use of the Kote will land him in hot water as this tool has been banned in the Chunin Exams by Naruto Uzumaki. The Seventh Hokage believes using the Kote is unfair as it doesn't use chakra, thereby giving the user an unfair advantage over others.

Boruto will undoubtedly face the wrath of his teammates and the disappointment of his father. It has been said that Sarada and Mitsuki will be ashamed of what their teammate did. Naruto's reputation as a Hokage will reportedly be affected as well. On his part, Boruto will try to explain to his father that he only wanted to win so Naruto would be proud of him.

Unfortunately, they have bigger problems as the Chunin Exams will reportedly be disrupted by the appearance of two villains who will abduct Mitsuki. Breathecast reported that she will be used as leverage so that her kidnappers will be able to complete their mission.
