'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' rumors: Momoshiki's curse mark on Boruto to awaken his Byakugan

(Manga Stream)Shown is the cover of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 9. A new story arc is expected to begin with the manga's chapter 11.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 11 is scheduled for release this month, but, even before the highly anticipated chapter of the manga arrives, it is already speculated that Boruto will become even more powerful than his father, Naruto — thanks to the curse mark that Momoshiki gave him in the current chapter.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 11 is expected to begin with a new story arc for Naruto's son after its chapter 10 ended similarly to the movie version of the story, only with a twist.

To recall, chapter 10 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" featured Boruto going to the place where he defeated Momoshiki Otsutsuki. There, he saw the spirit of Momoshiki who told him that he can no longer be a normal human being since he defeated a god (Momoshiki). Momoshiki continued telling Boruto that, apart from being not normal anymore, Boruto's blue eyes will also take away everything from him. After which, a curse mark appeared on Boruto's palm, and it is expected to grow bigger and wider as Boruto grows up.

Because of the said curse mark, it is now suspected that Boruto will become even more powerful than Naruto as the said curse mark is said to awaken his Byakugan. To recall, the first-ever chapter of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" showed a teenage Boruto in a fight with Kawaki. In the said chapter, it was evident that the curse mark had grown to cover Boruto's arm and part of his face.

To the uninitiated, Byakugan is a god-like power stronger than that of Naruto.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter 11 is expected to arrive anytime this month.

Meanwhile, it has been learned that "Naruto Shippuden" is taking its final bow this month and will be replaced by the "Boruto" anime in April. However, according to reports, the anime version of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will have its own story as it deviates from the events of its manga counterpart.
