'Bosch' season 3 trailer, updates: Bosch becomes suspect in the murder of a cop, trailer reveals
When Amazon's police procedural series "Bosch" returns for season 3 next month, the titular character will be facing new problems, one of which might be a murder charge.

Entertainment Weekly got first dibs on the trailer for "Bosch" season 3, which shows LAPD Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) back in the game of crime-solving. After having solved the crime of his mother's death, he will be faced with another mystery. Based on the trailer, it all starts from a bystander who claims to have seen Bosch throw a fellow cop off of a balcony. With the witness' testimony, Bosch is now a prime suspect for the murder of the police officer.
When Bosch is accused of the murder, his colleagues will start backing away from him, and that includes his partner Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector). "You won't see me comin' till it's over," Bosch can be heard saying in the trailer.
In an interview with executive producer Michael Connelly, he teased that the upcoming season will be based on two of his books, "The Black Echo" and "A Darkness More Than Night." According to the executive, both books portray two different sides of Bosch. In the former, he is driven and concentrated, particularly on finding the killer of a Special Forces soldier. Meanwhile, the latter portrays a more confused titular character, who sees the justice system as irreparable. More importantly, his actions in this particular novel drive his colleagues to worry about his well-being.
Furthermore, Connelly shared a few cast members who will be introduced in season 3, one of which is Paul Calderon, who will be portraying an ambitious detective who does not quite get along with Bosch.
"Bosch" season 3 picks up 16 months after the events of the preceding season. It will make its debut on Amazon this April 21. Although the network has yet to air the third season of the show, it has confirmed the renewal of "Bosh" for one more season.
More news and updates on "Bosch" season 3 should roll out soon.
