It's still a waiting game for fans of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" as a release date for DLC 3 has not been announced.
As previously reported by Ecumenical News, the third DLC was expected to come out on June 21, as predicted by Video Games Blogger last year. The publication was right about the release date of the second DLC "Eclipse" and fans assumed that the leaked release dates were legitimate.
However, June 21 has come and gone and it turns out that there isn't a new DLC pack for "Black Ops 3." The publication has already updated the post as it was indicated that the target release date of June 21 may have been pushed back due to the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
The new DLC may have missed the predicted release date, but fans also enjoyed a new update of the game. The latest one is only a minor update, which, as indicated in the official support site of Activision, was rolled out to add support for security updates.
Prior to this newest update, the update 1.11 was released. This update brought several changes to the gameplay but the highlight of it all was the opportunity to play as Black Jack.
As previously reported, players can step in to take the role of the infamous leader of the black market, but they will need to accomplish some game tasks first before they can unlock Black Jack.
So far, there is still no official word regarding the release date of the next DLC pack. Those who have been waiting for the new update should just stay tuned for the official announcement from Activision
Without official release news, it is expected that rumors about the remaining DLC packs will continue to swirl. Reports even suggest that the rest of the DLCs will likely become available around the same time as the upcoming "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," which will be released in November.
