During the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, Dell introduced its latest lineup of Latitude devices including the Latitude 13 7000 Series, the Latitude 12 7000 Series and the Latitude 11 5000 Series.

Dell has taken notes from its award-winning XPS lineup and created the thinnest and lightest devices for the modern business professional.

"With the new Latitude line, we are delivering commercial devices employees will desire for being thinner, lighter and more capable than many of the most popular consumer products without compromising on the security and manageability requirements of IT," said Kirk Schell, VP and GM of commercial client solutions at Dell.

The Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook comes with an attractive design but was built for heavy business use. With a 13-inch display, it is the smallest business class Ultrabook in the market. Its chassis was built using aircraft-grade carbon fiber, which makes it durable and lightweight.

The Ultrabook features an InfinityEdge display. With ultra-thin bezels, the laptop provides an immersive viewing experience especially when giving presentations or videos. It comes with the latest features including the USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3, a smartcard reader, fingerprint reader and RFID reader.

The second offering from Dell is the Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1, a mobile device designed for professionals. It features a 12.5-inch 4K UltraSharp UHD display with a Corning Gorilla Glass NBT panel. The 2-in-1 is slim at just 8 mm but also made durable with its magnesium body.

The Dell Latitude 12 7000 Series comes with a sleek and seamless design. It doesn't use pins and latches. Rather, it uses magnets to connect the tablet and the keyboard. Thus, the device can be transformed easily from a fully functional laptop into a tablet.

The 2-in-1 can be used with either the Dell Latitude 12 Slim Keyboard or the Dell Latitude 12 Premium Keyboard

Lastly, the Dell Latitude 11 500 Series 2-in-1 comes with a 10.8 Full HD display. It comes with a simply but eye-catching design. It is also lightweight at just 1.56 pounds. Despite its looks, it has been equipped with the world's best security and manageability features.

The Dell Latitude 11 5000 Series 2-in-1 and the Dell Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 be available for purchase by early February. Prices start at $749 and $1,049, respectively. The Dell Latitude 13 will go on sale on March 8 with prices starting at $1,299.
