'Devious Maids' season 4: Adrian's close call changes his view of Evelyn

(Facebook/deviousmaids)Adrian realizes his wife's importance in "Devious Maids" season 4.

Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky) and Adrian's (Tom Irwin) relationship has always been strained, but it will change for the better in the fourth season of the hit Lifetime series "Devious Maids."

During the last finale, the Powell house exploded with Adrian still inside. His fate remains a mystery, but fans are hopeful that he will somehow survive the blast. In her February interview AOL HQ, Susan Lucci, who plays Genevieve in the series, dished out on what to expect for season 4. She said that many cliffhangers would be solved, including whether Adrian and Evelyn will get a second change in love. Ever since the death of their son, the pair has drifted further and further apart.

"A lot of people want to know if Adrian survives. Adrian on paper is a very unsympathetic, sleazy kind of a character, but in the hands of Tom, you love this guy and root for him and you want him to live. And that's part of what we'll focus on in the beginning. We just began shooting, but there are some shocking surprises, let's put it that way," the actress said.

According to Fashion & Style, in the event that Adrian lives, it will be his chance to make up to his wife. His close call will be an eye opener for him that he should not take things for granted and be thankful for the people around him. Adrian will hopefully realize that their marriage is binding and that Evelyn deserves all the devotion he can possibly give.

Aside from Adrian's fate, another cliffhanger that will be discussed in season 4 is the true condition of Zoila (Judy Reyes) and her baby. In the past, the doctors asked her boss Genevieve to choose between her and the child. It appears that there were some complications with Zoila's pregnancy, which could potentially lead to death.

"Devious Maids" season 4 will air summer of this year on Lifetime.
