'Dragon Ball Super' episode 65 spoilers: Merged Zamasu's new attack destroys Vegeta and Goku's ki; will Vegito appear?

(Facebook/Dragon Ball Super)Fans are waiting for Vegito to appear in episode 65.

The Future Trunks story arc will be ending soon, and fans are already anticipating the final showdown between the Saiyans and the Zamasus. But will the future timeline be saved by the Saiyans or by the Omni-King?

The previous episode saw Vegeta going toe-to-toe with Goku Black and inflicting considerable damage. Upon realizing that the Saiyan Prince was powered by rage, the shaken Black also channeled his anger and inadvertently created a rift in time and space. Meanwhile, Future Trunks was able to use the Evil Containment Wave technique to temporarily seal Zamasu. The episode ended with Zamasu and Black fusing via the Potara earrings.

Goku, Vegeta, and the older Trunks will be facing a new challenge in Merged Zamasu in episode 65 of "Dragon Ball Super." Aside from having an immortal body and flawless fighting capability, his "Wall of Light" attack makes him a very formidable enemy. It's been said that this new attack neutralizes or destroys everything it touches. Can it also stop Goku and Vegeta's signature attacks?

A trailer for the upcoming episode, "Final Judgment?! The Supreme God's Ultimate Power," gives fans a glimpse at Merged Zamasu's awesome power. But it doesn't appear to faze the Saiyans as Goku is heard exhorting his fellow warriors that they just have to grow stronger. One scene even shows Vegeta's son attacking the god head-on.

Zamasu and Black fusing has led fans to wonder whether Vegito will be making an appearance as well. There's admittedly conflicting reports about this one as some sites believe that Vegeta and Goku will be using the Potara earrings of Future Kaioshins, while others state that no fusion will happen between the two older Saiyans.

What is clear, though, is that the upcoming episodes will showcase Goku and Vegeta's unwavering strength. Episode 66, "Showdown! The Unyielding Warriors' Miraculous Power," will reportedly find Merged Zamasu's "Wall of Light" crumbling at Goku's attack. There have also been rumors that the Omni-King himself might appear in episode 67 and finish off Zamasu once and for all.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 65 is slated to be aired on Fuji TV on Nov. 6 at 9 a.m.
