'Dragon Ball Super' episode 69 preview and spoilers: Will Arale and Goku face off?; 'Dr. Slump' protagonist said to be Akira Toriyama's strongest creation

"Dragon Ball Super" opted for a light and leisurely episode last week to give fans a break from the intense Future Trunks story arc. Now, Goku and the others are faced with a new challenge that comes in the guise of a powerful young girl.
The Future Trunks story arc culminated with the demi-Saiyan slicing Merged Zamasu in half. Future Omni-King then took care of the rest and erased the villain from existence. But the return of the older Trunks to the future meant that the time machine has gone with him as well.
This is why the previous episode saw Bulma lending Goku her Dragon radar as she hopes to make a wish for the Time Machine's last component. Unfortunately, the rest of the Z gang wanted a wish as well. To make matters worse, Beerus found out about Bulma's plan and promptly destroyed both the crystal she needed and the Time Machine she created.
The episode was a far cry from the episodes of the past few weeks. It was also something that fans needed, as they try to recover from Zamasu.
Now it seems "Dragon Ball Super" will begin a new story arc and it's one that will also involve another one of Akira Toriyama's characters. Episode 69 will apparently find Goku working as a security guard for Arale, the protagonist in Toriyama's "Dr. Slump" manga. It's not clear how Arale arrives in the "Dragon Ball" universe. However, something apparently happens during the "World Inventions Awards" that will cause Goku to engage in a new battle.
The upcoming episode bears the humorous title "Goku vs Arale! A Ridiculous Battle Will End The Earth?!," and a trailer teases how weird and ridiculous it will be. The clip starts with Arale meeting Vegeta, while Goku is seen sleeping. For some reason, the Saiyan Prince attacks her and appears to have quickly dispatched the blue haired girl.
But the next scene shows that Arale is still alive, despite having her head separated from her body. She teases that she now gets to "play pretend showdown with a real strong guy." This is followed by glimpses of Vegeta, Goku, Beerus, and even Mr. Satan. Menwhile, Majin Buu's head is seen being carried on a stick.
Toriyama had once teased that Arale is probably the strongest of his creations. Fans will now get to see how she'll fare against the Saiyans.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 69 is set to be aired on Fuji TV on Dec. 4 at 9 a.m.
