It had all been about the epic battle between Goku and Beerus in the last few episodes of "Dragon Ball Super." That continues on to episode 13, with Goku having a bit of an edge, as suggested by the episode title.

Episode 13 of "Dragon Ball Super" is titled "Goku Surpasses Super Saiyan God!" This has led many to speculate on just what might be in store for the show's main protagonist. Of course, the most popular of these speculations — and no small thanks to the episode title — is that Goku will finally surpass Super Saiyan God status and reach a level that fans have only seen in "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F."

In the past episodes, Beerus have had visions of a Super Saiyan God having enough power to challenge him. And the past three episodes have shown exactly that, with most sites describing the battle between him and Goku as "God-like." The sneak preview for episode 13 shows how this epic battle will continue on to the new episode. Goku will whip out his legendary Kamehameha and Beerus will have a purple aura that indicates he's in a state powerful enough to battle a full-powered Saiyan. Goku is not fazed by this transformation; not even when Beerus drops what looked like Wrath of the God of Destruction.

The sneak preview is also a fun watch for all fans as it gives various reaction shots of other characters, indicative of just how shocking the episode will be. Close-ups of the two battling characters also make for an exciting preview.

Design & Trend noted that if the upcoming episode does lead to Goku reaching Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, which is a whole new level past Super Saiyan God, then the series is aiming for a different storyline than "Battle of Gods." In that story arc, the hero only reached the new level of power when his opponent, Frieza, did the same.

But then again, the title can also be something to throw fans off their tracks. It might simply mean that the Saiyan is about to have a better hold at his Super Saiyan God powers.
