'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' release date, details: plot, tutorials shown in new screenshots

A new trailer has been released for the game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" during this year's Tokyo Game Show (TGS) event. The promotional clip focuses on the plot of the upcoming game and the responsibility of being a Time Patroller. There were new screenshots that were released as well for the latest installment.
The latest trailer from Bandai Namco shows Trunks inviting players to join the squad of Time Patrollers in order to keep the timeline from being disrupted and to make sure that events which have already occurred will not change. It also showed the training that a Time Patroller must go through.
According to reports, there were also new screenshots that were released for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and some of them show the different tutorial sessions within the game. In one of them, the player's customized character is asking guidance from one of the iconic heroes of the "Dragon Ball" franchise. Moreover, Time Patrollers will be able to interact with these icons continually and possibly form a bond with them as well.
In order to develop a better relationship with the heroes, the player can make them their master or teacher. This will allow the players to go on quests with them and to talk with them more frequently. As a reward for the gamers' efforts of creating and developing this bond, the players will be able to receive gifts and help from their masters in future quests.
Some of the other screenshots feature Krillin's milk delivery training. In order to successfully finish his training, players must deliver other fellow Time Patrollers' milk. Another type of training that was also shown involves Turtle Stone hunting and this will be given by Yamcha.
The new expert mode was also seen in the trailer where players must combine their strength in order to defeat a gigantic boss, a Saiyan Ape.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be launched in North America on Oct. 25 while it will be released in Europe on Oct. 28. The game can be played on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
