Ed Sheeran new album 2016 release date update: New song 'Brother's Blood' to be featured in 'Grimsby' movie
After the incredible success of Ed Sheeran's second album, titled "x" (multiply), a lot of his fans are waiting for any word about his third album. The 25-year-old British singer dished out on social media that the upcoming album is the best thing he has made so far.

Although there is still no official word from him or his representatives about the official date of the upcoming album's released, Ed Sheeran assures fans that it will be special.
On his Instagram post last year, Dec. 13, Ed Sheeran shared a photo message to his fans and family. A part of the message reads: "...to my fans, the 3rd album is on its way and is the best thing I have made thus far."
Speaking of new releases, despite the yet to be disclosed launching date of his third album, Ed Sheeran will be giving his fans a preview of a new song in an upcoming film.
The Sun reported Ed Sheeran's newest track, titled "Brother's Blood," will be featured or heard exclusively on Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedy film, titled "Grimsby."
Also, the song is super exclusive that it will not be available for download anywhere. It cannot also be streamed on any streaming apps or platforms. To top it all, it is also not included in the film's soundtrack.
The only way for anyone outside the film to hear the song is when it is played during the film's promotional tour or by going to the theaters to watch the movie.
A source said: "During Ed's early days Sacha wasn't really familiar with his work. He had no idea who he was when they were introduced. But they're both creative geniuses and have an obvious connection on that front, agreeing to help each other out where possible."
Meanwhile, Ed has been on a roll this month. Aside from winning this year's Grammy Award for Song of the Year, his album "x" has also recently reached sales of 2 million in U.S. alone, Billboard reported.
