'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location;' designer says spin-off different from its predecessors

Despite Scott Cawthon's assertion that "Five Nights at Freddy's World" was the last game in the "Five Nights at Freddy's" series, fans took his statement with a grain of salt. Their skepticism paid off though, as a new Freddy's game has just been confirmed.
The game designer has been teasing fans with enigmatic teasers posted on his Scott Games website. The teasers feature seemingly random letters that initially frustrated the "Five Nights at Freddy's" community before two intrepid members figured out that the letters spelled out "sister location," while a photoshopped layer revealed a message that reads "there was never just one."
Cawthon later uploaded the complete teaser, which shows an animatronic's eyes and mouth, and confirmed on Facebook that this was the replacement game to "Five Nights at Chippers."
The animatronic is barely distinguishable, although fans can clearly see that it has long lashes and a slightly opened mouth. Fans theorize that this might be the main character for the "Five Nights at Freddy's" spin-off game, subtitled "Sister Location." It's been said that "Sister Location" also refers to a restaurant associated with "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
The idea that the seminal "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise would have a spin-off isn't beyond the realm of possibility as the prolific animator is reportedly working on several projects.
Of course, fans couldn't help but ask questions as to why Cawthon made another "FNAF" game when he said that "Five Nights at Freddy's World" would be the last.
"I never said I couldn't change my mind. ;) It's not like every time I speak I'm engraving it into a stone tablet somewhere," was how Cawthon explained it.
The new game will reportedly be different from its popular point-and-click predecessor, but it will still give fans a lot of chills and surprises.
There's no word yet on when "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" will be released. However, the original "Freddy's" games are still available for computers and mobile devices.
