'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' release date: Game to drop on Oct. 7?

Fans are getting geared up for the arrival of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." Up until recently, the exact release date of the game was unknown. But according to creator Scott Cawthon's website, the follow-up to "Five Nights at Freddy's" will drop on Oct. 7.
Scottgames.com currently greets its visitors with a clown animatronic-type figure. Its eye sockets are empty and its smile is broken as half of its jaw dangles. The clown is wearing a striped, yellow, and green hat, and is sporting the iconic red nose. Below the figure are the numbers: 10-7-16.
However, the Steam page of the said game has a different release date: Oct. 8, a day later. It remains to be seen which one of the dates is real, but it should be noted that Cawthon just recently informed fans that "the rest of this game needs to be kept quiet until October 7th."
The first trailer of the game was already released, and many fans eagerly awaited the next. However, Cawthon revealed that there will not be a second trailer.
"I just wanted to make a short announcement that despite my earlier plans to do so, I will not be creating a second trailer for 'Sister Location,'" Cawthon wrote. "I feel that if I show any more of the game than I already have, then it will spoil a lot of the surprises in the game."
Indeed, since the game is of the horror genre, then it primarily relies on scares and surprises. Cawthon did acknowledge the fact, though, that many fans will not take the news too well. Since the creator seems set on his decision at this point, the best fans can do is wait until October.
It was previously reported that the game would be set at Circus Baby's Pizza World. The big reveal was made through Cawthon's website, which initially set everyone off because it had first appeared as if the game had been canceled. Thankfully, the cancellation gimmick was just a ruse.
