Gabriel Iglesias death rumors: 'Fluffy' very much well and alive, teases death hoax

Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias became the latest victim of celebrity death hoax. The funny man took it to Twitter to let his fans know that he is well and alive.
"Why is Facebook killing me? I'm alive :) thank u for checking," Iglesias replied to one of the tweets.
Celebrity death pranks are commonplace nowadays, with agitated fans responding quickly such news. The latest victim of this online hoax is comedian Gabriel Iglesias, popularly known as "Fluffy."
Iglesias appeared as the club owner and humorous drug dealer in 2012's 'Magic Mike,' one of his most famous and well-received roles to date.
It was said in the false reports that Iglesias died due to health complications on Oct. 31. It took a couple of days for the comedian to surface and make fun of this.
Iglesias posted a joke related to the hoax in his Facebook page, saying that since he is considered dead, then he will resume to consuming carbs again.
"There should be no charge to visit my grave so don't pay any attention to the shady guy by the gate with the comedy club passes in the new Jaguar trying to raise money by selling tickets to get in the cemetery," wrote the comedian, as reported by Hollywood Life.
Iglesias rose to fame began when he joined a reality show for stand-up comedians called "Last Comic Standing" during its fourth season. His crazy antics placed him as one of the top eight contenders in the finale.
Meanwhile, his sidesplitting comedy 'The Fluffy Movie' together with his sold-out 'Unity for Laughter' national tour, was released on Blu-Ray last Oct. 31.
