In the season 2 finale of "Girl Meets World," Riley, Maya and the rest of the class will soon be graduating from middle school and moving onto a new phase in their lives – high school. Before graduating, Cory asks Riley, Maya, Lucas and Farkle on what kind of legacy they will be leaving.

In the promo for the finale titled "Girl Meets Legacy," Riley begins to reminisce about all the good times that they have shared. She finds it difficult to say goodbye to middle school given that it has been the best time of their lives.

According to the official Twitter of "Girl Meets World" writers, Riley and the rest of the gang will show their gratitude to their middle school educators, the special people who have helped the students grow.

Also in the episode, Riley and Maya will be faced with what could possibly be the toughest test on their friendship. In season 2, Riley and Maya developed feelings for the same guy – Lucas. While their feelings for Lucas have been strong, Riley and Maya have not made any significant steps for fear of ruining their friendship.

"I'm in the middle of a big mess with two of the people I care most about in the world," says Riley.

However, according to the promo, it seems that the love triangle cannot be avoided any longer. Spoilers from audience members have also confirmed that the season 2 finale will be a big episode for Rucas and Lucaya.

Lucas finally announces that to the girls that he will be making the decision on his own. Lucas, Riley and Maya have a conversation in the bay window and they talk about the possible consequences of this decision. It seems that once Lucas announces his decision, it may possible lead to the end of Riley and Maya's friendship.
