(Facebook/Girl Meets World)Will "Girl Meets World" transfer to Freeform for its season 4?

Many are looking forward to the next season of "Girl Meets World," which could bring a lot of developments in the characters' relationships.

After an exciting season three of "Girl Meets World," fans have begun pairing up many of their favorite characters. With that, there is a lot of expectations for the relationships to form in the season ahead.

One of the pairings that seems to be popular with fans is between Maya, played by Sabrina Carpenter, and Josh, played by Uriah Shelton. There has been a lot of tension regarding their relationship though there is a significant age gap between the two of them. Nevertheless, many are hoping to see them united in the episodes ahead.

However, it seems as though other fans are hoping for her to end up with other characters, such as Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and Zay (Amir Mitchell-Townes). Since the past season saw Lucas' true feelings are for Maya, there is a lot of hope regarding their future. However, some are still worried as to how this will continue if it would possibly hurt Riley's (Rowan Blanchard) feelings.

As for Zay, some fans are making wild guesses regarding the development of their relationship since they both are single. Though this was not hinted at in the previous season, there is a chance that it could develop.

Unfortunately, there are some rumors surrounding the renewal of "Girl Meets World." It was speculated that the series might not be continued by Disney Channel. Because of this, fans have been trying all they can to make sure that the series returns, even if it is not on Disney.

According to reports, fans have created a petition for the show's renewal. It suggests that the show could be transferred to Freeform. Though the petition is already closed, there has yet to be any news on how it affects the season ahead.

With that, fans will have to wait for more news regarding the renewal of "Girl Meets World."
