GoPro Hero 5 specs rumors, updates: 3D video capture, live-streaming capabilities

Fans continue to wait for the release of a new action camera from GoPro. So far, there is still no official announcement regarding the exact release date of GoPro Hero 5, but it was hinted by company CEO Nick Woodman that new products should be available this holiday.
One of these products set for a holiday 2016 release is the anticipated GoPro Hero 5. Not much is known about the device except that the company considers it to be its "most connected and convenient" device. Without any official details as to what Hero 5 will be, the rumors about its specs and features just continue to make rounds online.
According to recent reports, the next action camera will be significantly different from other brands in the market – all thanks to its stand-out 3D feature. This is still a rumored feature of the device so that doesn't make it confirmatory. GoPro Hero 5 is expected to offer 4K video resolution and it can capture footage at 60 frames per second (fps).
The next camera is also likely to have a larger battery at 2,800 mAh, which allows consumers to make the most out of their moments. Moreover, GoPro is set to retain the camera's waterproof features, although it is rumored that this has also been improved significantly. Various media outlets have reported that GoPro is set to attract deep sea divers and underwater photography enthusiasts with its new camera, which can be taken to a depth of 60 meters. If proven to be true, the Hero 5 will no doubt outshine its predecessors.
Christian Daily has also mentioned that the upcoming iteration can also do live streaming of videos. There wasn't any announcement of the sort but the feature is believed to be likely after it was revealed that GoPro has partnered up with Periscope.
Amidst all rumors about the device, GoPro hasn't made any comment to deny or confirm the claims. Fans will just have to wait for the official word from the company.
