'Grimm' season 5 spoilers: Adalind makes a decision to protect her children; will Nick and Eve/Juliette get back together in episode 20?

With only three episodes left in "Grimm" season 5, Nick is getting ready for the fight of his life as his family is threatened by Black Claw. But will Adalind's decision to give in to Renard's demand lead to a relationship between Nick and Eve?
Things have been going so well in Detective Nick Burkhardt's (David Giuntoli) personal life recently that fans just know something big was about to drop. And that's exactly what happened in the previous episode when Adalind (Claire Coffee) was forced to go along with Renard (Sasha Roiz) and the Black Claw's plan to play happy family for the voters. However, it's unlikely that the Grimm would just allow his son to be taken just like that.
Nick's greatest fear has apparently come true in episode 20, as he seems to be on the verge of losing everything to Black Claw. And with Portland's mayoral elections drawing nearer, Captain Sean Renard is also ramping up his campaign, forcing Adalind to make a decision in order to protect Diana and Kelly. Meanwhile, Hank's (Russell Hornsby) relationship with Zuri goes in a surprising direction, while Wu (Reggie Lee) tries to come to terms with his new reality.
A trailer for the upcoming episode, "Bad Night," teases a volatile and determined Grimm. The short Nick-centric clip starts with a shot of the Grimm reading Adalind's letter. Viewers are then given glimpses of baby Kelly and Adalind, who's apparently on the campaign trail with Renard. Nick is then shown engaged in a tense conversation with his captain at the station. Renard tells Nick that sometimes the only way to protect the people they love is to let them go. That sentiment doesn't seem to sit well with the detective, who counters that sometimes the best way to protect the ones you love is to "kill the people who threaten them." Nick is then shown beating up a wesen in the interrogation room, searching a house with his gun drawn, and later, shooting another wesen in a car.
This appears to be just the tip of the iceberg as "Grimm" fans can expect the normally calm Nick to be on the warpath as the season wraps up. There are reports that Black Claw, through Zuri, might cause harm to Hank, something that will make Nick even more determined to take down the nefarious group.
It's also speculated that with Renard and Adalind back together for the moment, Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) feeling for Nick will resurface again in Eve. This is something that Tulloch had hinted at as well in an interview she gave with Collider.
Fans need not wait long as "Grimm" is about to wrap up its fifth season, starting with the airing of episode 20 on May 13 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
