'Grimm' season 5 spoilers: Zuri sinks her claw deeper into Hank in episode 20

(Facebook/NBCGrimm)Zuri continues to fool Hank in the upcoming episode of "Grimm."

Hank (Russell Hornsby) still has no idea that the woman he has been dating is a certified minion of the Black Claw in the upcoming episode of "Grimm."

In "Bad Night," TV Guide reports that Zuri's (Sharon Leal) hold on the police officer is becoming tighter. So far, she has been successful in prying as much details as she can from him about Nick (David Giuntoli), as Hank remains oblivious to her true intention. The character's continued ignorance to the world of the Wesens, as well as the Black Claw and Hadrian's Wall, is starting to irk fans of the series.

For many, Hank must be very dense not to be suspicious of everything that has been happening in Portland. He does not even know his friends are not what they seem to be.

Series creator David Greenwalt told Collider in a recent interview that the clueless Hank would soon change, as the character becomes more aware of the existence of a different world. This epiphany would likely happen in the sixth season of the series, says the EP.

"That could happen. This was big decision year one, do we let Hank in on it? And he can't seem dumb. And we just didn't want to say this is how the show works, and it always has to be this way," Greenwalt shared in the interview. "It's great to have him work with the group, but still the world doesn't know about the majority of this stuff. You still have that."

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode will also see Wu's (Reggie Lee) continued denial of his condition. After getting scratched by a lycanthrope in the previous episode, Wu has been steadily showing signs of turning into one. Things came to heed when he killed a Black Claw underling during a fight. Nick, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and the others finally learned what happened to their friend. What concerned them more was that Wu is not entirely a lycanthrope. Rosalee (Bree Turner) could not pinpoint what he has become.

"Grimm" season 5 episode 20 airs Friday, May 13 at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
