The finale of "Hawaii Five-0" season six left many fans touched and also wondering what's next for the cast that had to go through trials in order to get things in their proper places. One of the most anticipated scenes that fans should look forward to in season seven is Adam's release from prison.

Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) was thrown into prison earlier but executive producer Peter M. Lenkov already teased that he will definitely be out in season seven. Carter Matt notes that Kono (Grace Park), who is obviously the one most affected by her husband's stint behind bars, also deserves to be happy.

The outlet adds that Kono has been through a lot over the past years, dealing with loneliness while Adam was gone and also trying to solve her own issues. Though Lenkov already assured fans in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Adam and Kono's relationship "is in a healthy place," they will still have to try to adjust to each other's presence again after being apart for some time.

It will also take time for Kono to fully give Adam her trust again and this is where the struggles could kick in. Adam has taken enough time in jail to contemplate on his life and will definitely want to fix his relationship with Kono but will their efforts be enough?

Meanwhile, McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) are expected to raise the bromance flags in "Hawaii Five-0" season seven as their bond gets deeper and stronger.

It seems Adam isn't the only one thinking about getting his life on the right track as HOF Mag says McGarrett will also reflect on his decisions. As fans know, he almost faced death in the previous installment and had it not been for Danny's sacrifice, he might not have made it alive.

This could mean that McGarrett will now try to think of the advice his family and friends are giving him. McGarrett has always been stubborn and likes to do things his way, but after seeing his best bud offering a liver to get him out of death's clasp, viewers may see a warmer and much calmer McGarrett in the upcoming episodes.

"Hawaii Five-0" season seven is scheduled to premiere on September 23, 2016 at 9 PM ET on CBS.
