'High School Musical 4' rumors: Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens confirmed to be part of upcoming TV-movie?

It has almost been a year since "High School Musical 4" was announced, but it remains unclear as to when it will exactly arrive to the small screen. Apart from the release date of the anticipated TV event, though, another thing that piques the interest of the fans is whether Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will be part of the said TV-movie. However, according to the latest reports, it is said that the two original "High School Musical" stars are, indeed, part of the highly anticipated TV-movie.
There is no denying that "High School Musical 4" is one the most-looked-foward-to TV events. When it was announced in March this year that Disney is coming up with another "High School Musical, " it was clear that the upcoming Disney TV-movie will cast the spotlight on new faces that it will be introducing. Nonetheless, speculations on Efron and Hudgens' inclusion in the project drowned any other information attached to "High School Musical 4."
According to the latest reports, though, Efron and Hudgens are, indeed, a part of "High School Musical 4." In fact, rumors claim that the two are dating again as, allegedly, Hudgens has called it quits with Austin Butler over the latter's jealousy issues.
Efron and Hudgens became a real-life couple during their stint as Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez, respectively, in the past three "High School Musical." The couple amicably split in 2010 after almost five years of relationship.
"I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up. Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that's not what that's about. 'Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice,' " said Hudgens in an interview with the New York Times last year as she recalled the struggles of her relationship with Efron.
Earlier, it was reported that Efron and Hudgens would be part of "High School Musical 4" to breathe life to new characters. Allegedly, Efron's character would now be a coach of the Wildcats, while that of Hudgens would be the adviser of the school's Glee Club.
With the new rumors on the alleged "confirmed" inclusion of the two original "High School Musical" cast members, fans can't help but jubilate. Whether Efron and Hudgens will reprise their original roles or play new ones, it, apparently, is not an issue to the fans as the important thing is that they will lend their presence anew to "High School Musical 4."
However, as everything is just a rumor at this point in time, fans are advised to hold their horses for now.
