Folks who were waiting for HTC to show off the One M10 during the Mobile World Congress were likely disappointed, but despite being a no-show this time around, the rumored smartphone may still be making an appearance in the near future.

According to the latest rumors surrounding HTC's upcoming flagship device, the company is now expected to hold their very own launch event for the One M10 that will reportedly be taking place on April 11.

Rumors have also suggested that the launch event HTC is planning for their next flagship will be situated in London.

Even with the One M10 not expected to come out until April, new details have still emerged about the rumored smartphone.

Recently, noted tipster Evan Blass tweeted a picture of what he has called as the "HTC One M10 in white."

A quick look at the photo doesn't show anything unexpected, and it also gives people a look at the home button that has supposedly also been designed to carry another function as a fingerprint sensor.

As mentioned by Android Headlines, the fact that the HTC One M10 is also running on the Android Marshmallow operating system (OS) right out of the box is another reason to believe that the home button will indeed also function as a fingerprint sensor, since such an addition will help users access certain features of the software more conveniently.

Aside from the addition of the dual-functioning home button, HTC's new flagship is also expected to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor.

The rumored phone is also expected to feature 4 GB of RAM together with 32 GB of internal storage, although users will, apparently, be able to add to that.

HTC's rumored phone is also expected to feature a 12-megapixel primary camera to go with its 5.2-inch display.

More details about the HTC One M10 should be made available in the coming weeks.
