Apple's iPad Pro 2 is expected to arrive next year, and if recent rumors pan out, then folks should expect to see a significantly different tablet from the one previously released by the technology giant.

Design changes are reportedly in store for the next-generation tablet.

First off, the home button that has been present in numerous Apple devices will apparently no longer be seen in the new tablet, according to a recent report from Mac Otakara.

However, the design changes reportedly don't stop there since even the display of the new tablet may be altered.

The tablets' bezels may be tweaked too, with the bottom one in particular supposedly set to be reduced in order to make more room for the display. The tablet won't be completely bezel-less however, as the top one will still be there in order to serve as the home of the FaceTime camera.

Changes coming to the iPad Pro 2 are reportedly going to alter more than just its appearance, as improved internal specs should help turn the tablet into an even more powerful device.

According to a recent report from Value Walk, the new processor found in the rumored tablet may be more powerful, and it is currently expected to be known as the A10X Fusion.

Another internal improvement rumored for Apple's new tablet will affect the amount of RAM it provides, as that number is apparently set to go up from 4GB to 6GB.

People may also be given the option of choosing from three different tablet variants. One model is expected to have a 7.9-inch screen, the next one will give users a 10.9-inch display and the last variant will be a 12.9-inch tablet.

Though Apple has yet to announce the iPad Pro 2 officially, the new tablet is still expected to make its debut sometime in the spring.
