Jane (Gina Rodriguez) will get the honeymoon she has always dreamed about with her prince charming Michael (Brett Dier) in the upcoming season of "Jane the Virgin." Will they have plans to give Mateo a baby sister/brother soon?

Although the last season ended in an ominous note, fans of the CW series are positive things will turn out all right for the newlyweds. Michael was shot by his partner at the hotel where he and Jane were staying after the wedding. His wound looked serious and it looked like he would be fighting for his life in the new installment.

Executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman basically confirmed with ET Online that Michael would be okay. She said that the honeymoon that was postponed because of the incident would push through in season 3. Jane will finally lose her virginity.

"There's a lot of pressure on that moment and I haven't drilled down -- so to speak -- on what will happen. I have a lot of different ideas on what that will be, and how big to make it, and how many complications and so forth, so I'm excited about that, but also nervous because I want to execute it well," she shared.

Jane got pregnant with Mateo by mistake when she was artificially inseminated with Rafael's (Justin Baldoni) sperm. Although she already gave birth, she is still technically a virgin. Jane promised her grandmother that she would stay chaste until the day she gets married. She managed to stick to her words all this time, even though there have been instances when she almost gave in to lust. Jane came really close to losing her innocence to her English professor last season, but she changed her mind in the last minute.

Meanwhile, Dier recently shared in an interview that there would be a lot of drama to look forward to in season 3. He also promised that the viewers would be in for an "exciting ride" due to the "funny and relatable" storylines that the showrunners have come up with for the new episodes.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 will premiere on Monday, October 17 at 9 p.m. EST on the CW.
