Following the announcement that "Longmire" will run for its sixth and final installment next year, numerous plot rumors have started making their rounds online.

One of the hottest rumors that fans have their eyes on concerns the alleged mole within Abrasoka County's sheriff department. It is widely speculated that the mole is none other than The Ferg's (Adam Bartley) girlfriend. Some say she may only be using him as a way to get the information she wants.

Fans can expect to see The Ferg having an emotional breakdown if ever the rumors are true. It appears that he has taken this romance seriously, and if his girlfriend indeed turns out to be the mole in "Longmire" season 6, The Ferg may lose it.

Other reports suggest that "Longmire" season 6 will focus largely on the budding romance between Sheriff Walt (Robert Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff). As seen in the previous installment, Walt appears to have started realizing that he has romantic feelings for Vic. However, he has been trying to ignore them. 

Vic, on the other hand, seems to have had deep feelings for Walt for a long time now, but it looks like she has also been trying to shrug off her emotions so that their work relationship stays intact. However, these feelings may finally bloom in "Longmire" season 6.

For the past seasons, viewers have been rooting for the teammates to welcome the obviously intensifying emotions that they have for each other.
