Only a few more episodes left in this season's "MasterChef" and the remaining hopefuls are starting to feel the heat, literally and figuratively. Tonight, a team of two will later battle it out in the pressure test to make it to next week's episode.

Only four more are remaining in episode 18 of "MasterChef" season six, Claudia, Derrick, Nick, and Stephen. And the four face another team challenge and, as always, the losing team will battle each other in the pressure test. For the team challenge, Nick got to pick his teammate, having won the previous Elimination Challenge. And he picked Claudia on his side for the Red Team, leaving Derrick and Stephen on the other side of the fence in the Blue Team.

Nothing has changed, as the loser in the Pressure Test will be going home and this time, the stakes are higher because it will not just be any other dish to be prepared in the pressure test — it's Christina Tosi's signature chocolate malted layer cake. The remaining three at the end of tonight's episode will go straight to the semifinals in episode 19.

This group is probably one of the more likable final four in the show, with no one contestant seemingly acting like a villain. And they do not seem to be a boring bunch, either. Stephen and Derrick are as intense as intense can be, with the former being sort of a mad scientist in the kitchen. Claudia and Nick, on the other hand, have been very straightforward about their emotions.

So who goes home after tonight's surely intense episode? FOX's teaser promo might have revealed who will battle it out in the Pressure Test. The video shows the Blue team in the balcony looking over the Red Team, which suggests that Claudia and Nick might be facing each other off.

CarterMatt calls Nick as the eliminated chef, despite him having won the last Elimination Challenge. And the site says it's because they see him as the least developed of them all. But then again, they also say that Nick has lasted this long and might have some tricks up his sleeve.
