"Masters Of Sex" fans can rejoice, as a premiere date has finally been set for season three. TVLine reports that Sunday, July 12 at 10 p.m. ET, audiences will finally see Bill Masters and Virginia Johnson grace viewer's television sets. Showtime's sexual drama will surely be fascinating this season, as the story time-jumps to 1966 when Masters and Johnson are handling ample attention due to the unveiling of their revolutionary sex study.

With the spotlight on them and a scientific study triggering a sexual revolution, how will this affect their current relationships? Especially the "marriage" Libby and Bill share and the blossoming romance between Virginia and Bill.

Meanwhile, showrunner Michelle Ashford confirmed to E! News that actress Allison Janney and actor Beau Bridges will return this season for at least three episodes. Janney essays the role of sexually repressed but now self-aware Margaret Scully and Bridges plays the role of her gay husband, Barton.

Ashford confirmed the news by saying, "I will say you will see both of them back for sure. They're now in our world and, as much as they can, given their other commitments, they are going to stay in our world because we just realized what they bring is so rich." Ashford is referring to Janney's commitment on comedy show "Mom" as the actress is juggling filming both shows simultaneously.

Allison's role as Margaret Scully won her an Emmy award last year in Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series category. She was, arguably, the most exciting plot of season one, being unaware that her husband is gay and never having experienced an orgasm. The "Mom" star expressed her excitement to be back on the show to TVLine saying, "I'm hoping that Mom will have a third season — in which case I would be doing both shows at the same time. It's going to be hard, but hopefully (it will happen)." The actress isn't shy of hard work.

But what will happen to Barton and Margaret's marriage? Will Bill and Libby's marriage end? What is Virginia's future?
