Kate (Tabrett Bethell) is determined to get hottie doctor Scott (Justin Hartley) by hook or by crook in the upcoming episode of "Mistresses."

The ABC series is currently on a short hiatus, but it will soon be back with a new episode on August 8. No synopsis has been released yet for episode 7, but the promo is enough to make fans excited. In the video, Kate is shown stalking Scott and coming uninvited to his clinic. The blonde has a bad crush on the sexy plastic surgeon and plans to seduce him. The clip shows her wearing a very revealing dress and smiling seductively at Scott. When the doctor bends down to check whatever it is that Kate asked him to see, he suddenly kisses her.

Kate tells April (Rochelle Aytes) what happened and she is shocked to hear that Scott is Joss' (Jes Macallan) ex. Scott already knows that Kate is the sister of Joss' new boyfriend. He tried avoiding her last episode, but she was one smitten lady. April cautions Kate that Joss will get angry once she learns of their hook-up. How will Kate handle the situation? Joss and Scott did not part as friends. They still blame each other for what happened in their relationship. An affair with Kate is going to be a big mistake for Scott.

Meanwhile, Joss is in trouble with the law. Reza (Micky Shiloah), the guy she punched in the Las Vegas casino, is pressing charges against her. She was with Harry (Brett Tucker) that time and was having a good time until the teen arrived with his girlfriend. Reza started to manhandle his date and Joss did not like it. She could remember when she was attacked by Wilson (Jarod Joseph). Her post-traumatic stress disorder kicked in and she snapped.

"Mistresses" season 4 will return on Monday, Aug. 8, at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
