Moto X 1 specs, price and release date rumors

Motorola Moto E and Moto G with 4G are now official, but there is yet no Moto X 1. The Moto X 1 release date was anticipated on May 13, according to rumors crediting the device as a handset with new and impressive specs, features and hardware.
It was in April when rumors began about an upcoming Moto X 1, when powerful pre-launch information leaker, @evleaks, tweeted details of Motorola's sequel to the Moto X.
In 2013, Motorola released a great handset packed with useful features, beautiful design and an aggressive price point, the Moto X. It was the company's first device that carried Google's input and support. Thus, the Moto X came across as somewhat similar to the Nexus series, impressing the tech industry big time.
Motorola has Moto X customizable through Moto Maker. Many expect the company to continue with this feature on its future devices.
Tech pundits found an unnamed handset Motorola XT912A inside a benchmark with details of its hardware and specs, which was thought to be Moto X' successor, aptly called Moto X 1.
The device was said to have a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution display, packing a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 12MP sensor camera, built-in pedometer, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and being run on Android 4.4.3.
Though the specs can only be speculated on until the device is officially announced, the leaked information has been interesting. That the device was said to launch this month only added to the hype.
There is no information as to the Moto X 1 release date, except that that it will be featured by all of the four big U.S. carriers – AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless.
As for the price, many expect it would be similar to Moto X, which is about $500, without contract.
