New game alert! Fans of the "Naruto" franchise will be happy to know that a new mobile-based game is in the works. According to Saiyan Island, Bandai Namco Entertainment is working on a game called "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing."

CyberConnect2, the developer of the "Storm" series, and GREE, a Japanese Internet media company, are working together with Bandai Namco on the upcoming game. "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing" is going to be a turn-based game that will be playable on Android or iOS.

The game will be available in Japan later this year, but no announcement has been made for other territorial releases. However, earlier in February, an English trademark for the game was already applied for, the same publication noted. Hopefully, the game will also be released in other countries, as a large fan base for the "Naruto" series also exists outside of Japan.

An official website for the game has also been launched. The website is primarily in Japanese, but the words "Coming Soon!" can be easily seen once the page is opened. It also has a link to the game's official Twitter handle, which, as of writing, only has one post.

Shonen Games notes that the cover art sees different characters both from PTS (Pre Time Skip) and Shippuden. Because of this, a general assumption has been made that the game will feature both iterations.

In other news, the "Naruto Shippuden" schedule has been released. The remaining ones are as follows:

May 26, 2016: Episode 462 – "I Created the Past"

June 2, 2016: Episode 463 – "The Surprising Number One!"

June 9, 2016: Episode 464 – "Ninshu"

The episodes will see Kaguya's past in the limelight and will explore her origins. It was previously revealed that she had landed on Earth through a meteor. With the help of Black Zetsu, her return will see her journey to recover all the chakras.

Stay tuned for the latest news and updates.
