Kensi and Deeks are finally taking the plunge and moving in together in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles." But since this show doesn't seem to want to give the agents a break, someone from Kensi's past will resurface and cause some tension between the couple.

Episode 14 of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7 revolves on an epic case of bad timing. According to a synopsis for the episode, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) just made a big announcement to their team when they were suddenly tasked to protect Kensi's ex-fiancé, Jack (Matthew Del Negro), who has a list of contacts that a number of people are willing to kill for.

A trailer for the episode starts with Kensi and Deeks announcing to Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam (LL Cool J) and the rest of the team that they're finally moving in together. Eric (Barrett Foa) looks surprised and Sam is obviously happy for them. The next scene shows Kensi taken aback with the arrival of Jack. Hetty (Linda Hunt) explains that Kensi and Jack were engaged 10 years ago. There's a glimpse of Kensi hugging Jack and Deeks not looking happy about it. The clip ends with the LAPD liaison telling a teary-eyed Kensi that there are still things she needed to say to Jack and that "you gotta say it."

The upcoming episode is titled "Come Back," which some fans might contest as being appropriate for the situation as Jack was last seen way back in season 5, during the White Ghost story arc. As Christian Today explained it, Jack made the decision to convert to Islam and move to Afghanistan to help people who might have connections to the Taliban. Kensi was against the idea and begged him to leave Afghanistan and come back to her. But he had already decided and consequently broke off their engagement. Interestingly, Deeks was with Kensi when the whole debacle was going down, so it makes sense for him to feel a little threatened with Jack's return.

Episode 14 of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 7 will be aired on CBS tonight.
