Since there are a lot of smartphone users looking for budget-priced devices that run Android, there is no doubt that Google's new Nexus 5X, will give the recently released Apple iPhone 6s a run for its money. Here is the two new devices compare.

Design

In terms of design, the iPhone 6s has one of the best, as it has a simple, full metal body created from 7000 series aluminum. There is a fingerprint scanner incorporated into the home button and it comes in four colors, rose gold, silver, gold and space gray. The Nexus 5X, on the other hand, is a budget device created from polycarbonate. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner encircled by a ring, which is placed at the device's rear. In terms of colors, there are three options available, white, black and blue.

Display

The Nexus 5X has a bigger IPS display measuring 5.2 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 424 pixels per inch. On the iPhone 6s is an IPS LCD screen measuring 4.7 inches with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and a density of 326 pixels per inch. However, the device from Apple has one big advantage, as it has 3D Touch technology, which provides users with easier accessibility.

Specs

The hardware of the Nexus 5X includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, coupled with an octa-core CPU comprised of four cores clocked at 1.44 GHz and four clocked at 1.82 GHz and an Adreno 418 GPU. As for the iPhone 6s, it has an Apple A9 chipset, coupled with a CPU with two cores clocked at 1.84 GHz and a PowerVR GT7600 GPU.

Memory

There is no memory slot on either device, therefore external storage cannot be added. As for RAM, both are equal, having 2 GB each.

Camera

Both devices have 12-megapixel cameras. Though they do not have the optical image stabilization feature, both smartphones can record 4k videos.

Price

This is where the Nexus 5X is truly ahead as without a contract, its 16 GB model is only $380. The 16 GB iPhone 6s costs $649, unlocked, and $199 with a two-year contract.
