'The Originals' season 3 episode 2 spoilers: Synopsis, teaser hint at Klaus' vision of Mikaelsons' downfal

"The Originals" returned with a twisty and plot-filled season 3 premiere, with Klaus' once-protege Lucien promising to make things in New Orleans a little bit more interesting. In the next episode, he bears news of war while other characters also dive into their own exciting drama.
CarterMatt has just posted the official synopsis for "You Hung the Moon," the second episode for "The Originals" season 3. In it, Lucien Castle (Andrew Lees) tells Elijah (Daniel Gillies) about the impending war amongst those of the sire lines. Seeing a prophecy that does not bode well for the Mikaelsons' future, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tries to go to all lengths to see how true the threat in the prophecy is.
But the next episode is not just about a potential threat to the original siblings. Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) fails to return during a full moon, putting Elijah and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) in a state of worry — which is fully justifiable, given that werewolves are being put out in the bayou by the poachers. Hayley is, however, stashed away safe somewhere, with only Davina (Danielle Campbell) knowing of her whereabouts. Will Davina somehow use this information to her advantage?
Cami (Leah Pipes) and Klaus also have another moment in episode 2. Cami comes across a theory about the deaths in the French Quarter and brings forth this theory to Klaus. How will this moment between the two play out? Will Cami finally cave in or will she continue to fight her feelings?
In the pilot episode, Klaus tried to woo Cami and even attempted to flirt with her. But as previous spoilers have revealed, the two remain distant as the latter tries hard to fend off her feelings.
But while Klaus reaches out to his lady love, Lucien reaches out to him. The newcomer tells the original sibling that he is probably the only person to be trusted. Klaus does not buy it, though.
Everything that is said in the synopsis is echoed by the short teaser clip for "You Hung the Moon." It starts off with Elijah demanding his younger brother to speak of what he knows.
To this, Klaus answers, "The perfected vision of our family's spectacular downfall."
It ends with Klaus talking to someone on the phone, warning of someone's death.
Fans can find out who he is talking to and what else is in store for the sire lines when "You Hung the Moon" airs on Oct. 15. "The Originals" is broadcast on The CW every Thursday night, 9 p.m.
