'Penny Dreadful' season 3 spoilers: Vanessa makes an alliance with Catriona in episode 6

(Facebook/PennyDreadfulonShowtime)"Penny Dreadful" season 3 episode 6 shows Vanessa and Catriona's alliance.

Expect an alliance between Vanessa (Eva Green) and the mysterious Catriona Hartigan (Perdita Weeks) in the upcoming episode 6, titled "No Beast So Fierce," of the third season of the British-American horror drama "Penny Dreadful."

The mysterious and intriguing Catriona, who might have met Dracula (Christian Camargo) long time ago, will finally be introduced as she agrees to team up with Vanessa. The power struggle between Dorian (Reeve Carney), Lily (Billie Piper), and Justine (Jessica Barden) will become more apparent. Meanwhile, the non-consensual work of Frankenstein and Jekyll is expected to reach its peak.

The promo trailer for "No Beast So Fierce" shows Vanessa revealing to Dracula that there is a creature who keeps haunting her since the dawn of time. Vanessa also believes that Dracula does not want her death but her submission. Meanwhile, Ethan (Josh Hartnett) has finally arrived at his family's abode. He is seen leading the dinner's prayer. However, it seems like his darkness is taking over him.

Speaking of Dracula, Christian Camargo shared on Empire how he likes executive producer John Logan's vision for Dracula.

"When John was talking about Dracula, he referenced John Milton, who wrote 'Paradise Lost.' We're talking about a more Gothic interpretation of Dracula as Satan," he explained. "These are two brothers who are cut from the same cloth, as opposed to Bram Stoker's 'Dracula.' What I love about the show is that it borrows from the old literature, but John makes it his own, and goes into really deep storytelling."

The actor added that Dracula has been through a lot of injustice and the character has viewed Earth as hell and he is determined to prove it. He also pointed out that there is a larger war out there, "a war about the universe taking place on this tiny little planet, and in this tiny little city."

"Penny Dreadful" season 3 airs every Sunday at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
