The main protagonist of "Persona 5" will be a second year high school student who just moved in to Tokyo. While he appears to be pleasant and good-mannered, events will lead him to create an alter ego, which is a phantom thief.

According to the description, the character's initial Persona will be called Arsene. As Arsene, the character wears a mask and has black wings. He will soon meet friends who will join in his masquerade. Their motive will be revealed as the game progresses.
