'Pokémon GO' Eevee evolution guide: Which is the best type of Eevee? Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporeon?

"Pokémon GO" still manages to make headlines even though it has been a while since it was released. In fact, an avid player has even become the first to catch all Pokémon in the United States. But how does one become the very best Pokémon master? Here are tips and tricks on how to determine which form an Eevee should be transformed into.
Eevee is arguably a common Pokémon. However, it is also the most flexible in terms of evolution. It is widely known that Eevee can be turned into one of three types: a water type, a fire type, and an electric type. It would be ideal to have all three types; however, that would require catching three separate Eevees. So how do players find out which type is best?
First of all, it is important to determine Eevee's Individual Values or IV. As previously reported, the IV level is separated into three categories: Stamina, Defense, and Attack/Strength. There is an existing IV calculator for players who want to know their Pokémon's level, apart from just glancing at the CP.
In its electric-type form, Eevee turns into Jolteon, the weakest in the trio. This Pokémon does not boast high stamina, defense, or attack. However, a Jolteon does have its advantages when battling against water-type Pokémon.
In its fire-type form, Eevee turns into Flareon. Unlike Jolteon, Flareon does not hold up much against water-type Pokémon. However, it does have a high level of attack.
In its water-type form, Eevee turns into Vaporeon. This Pokémon has a high level of stamina and equal levels of defense and attack. However, its primary water gun attack has been lowered to a six after Niantic released an update.
It is important to note, though, that IV levels are not always consistent all throughout. These levels can change depending on the trainer's own level. Other factors include power-ups and evolutions.
