Little is known on the current production of the presumed 'Prometheus 2' movie, until now.

Director Ridley Scott recently talked to the Australian publication The Australian, during a promotional tour for his latest movie, 'Exodus: Gods and Kings.'

Scott revealed that there will be a new monster in the next film, and it will be a modern representation of the classic H.R. Giger character.

"If I see one more dragon I'm going to shoot myself. Stop the dragons," said Scott jokingly, who was referring to the "dragoon" as the alien creature.

"The alien's real which is why it's probably one of the scariest monsters in film history," Scott continued.

"So with Prometheus 2 what I'm trying to do is reintroduce a fresher form of alien in the third act," the 'American Gangster' director added.

Scott was asked what the creature looked like and its nature, and the director replied that the composition is very close to the 1979 Alien creature.

Cinema Blend commented in a report that the best parts of Prometheus were the scenes involving the alien universe, and Scott's controversial creature could take the sequel to new heights.

Meanwhile, Ridley Scott dropped hints on a new project, confirming that 'Blade Runner 2' is currently in talks and mentioned that it is "written and it's really good."
